The senior class of Rockdale high school will present the play, “Desperate Ambrose,” Friday, March 21, in the Rockdale high school auditorium beginning at 8 p.m. The play is a three-act farce comedy with a setting in the West in the 1880's. The action takes place in the Dead Man's Gulch Hotel. Tickets to the play, which will be sold by members of the senior class, will go on sale Monday. Tickets are 75 cents for adults and 50 cents for students. Featured in the cast are Joe Grubbs as Dan’l, Richard Kirkpa trick as Ambrose Groves, Dou glas Irby as Bert Miller, Wayne Kyle as Sheriff Crandel, Mike Hight as Hoot Owl Pete, Errol Robinson as Stinkweed, Ginger Harriss as Nancy Martin, Char lene Holden as Anne Martin, Linda Graham as Posie, Kirby Owens as Beth, Joan Cogbill as Mrs. Sprool, Wilma Kirkpatrick as Lena, Billy Menges as Judge, and Edgar Henry and Robert Crump as Stage Drivers. Senior class sponsors Mrs. Non nie Blackburn and Mrs. Dorothy Luckey are directing the play, Edgar Lee Henry is stage man ager, assisted by Zeke Young. Promoters are Jo Ann Smith and Virginia Wilson. Proceeds from the play will go for the senior class trip.
