- Olive Diehl was born in iflryville, Pennsylvania, Febr-rjr 28,1895. She died March 2, 7, at her home seven miles th of Emmetsburg at the age f.52 years and two days. .■h-the age of five years she’kOijsved from Pennsylvania to Ijbvva. She was united in marriage fjjjj-Frank P. Staver at' Emmets-jUrg, Iowa, December 23, 1914. this union two children were , Kathryn and Margaret, he is survived by her mother, s. Levi Diehl of Berrien4rings, Michigan; two daughters, Mrs. Vernon Rouse, Emmetsburg,Idwa, and Mrs. Myrlen Fiscus,■ .Champaign, Illinois; three grand-liarry, Arnold and KeithRouse; and a niece Lutlla Lent, survivors include a sister,Mrs. Mabel Hamrack of Berrien.1 -Springs, Michigan; and four brothers, Victor Diehl of Cassapolis, an, Orville Diehl of Niles, igan, John Diehl of South , Indiana, and Ralph Diehl of Los Angeles, California.Mrs. Staver was a member of I lt;the Order of Eastern Star andPythian Sisters. She is remembered as a devoted mother and one 11 who was always active in community affairs.. Funeral services were conducted at the Emmetsburg Methodist church at 2:00 Wednesday, Mar. 5,? under the direction of Rev. Rbbert JpU Rings of the Mallard Metl^dip church and Rev. PaulHtiijPeL ; the Emmetsburg’^PallbearerS were Tom Cookley. Joe Namer, Wade High. Bennie Henkelvig Joe Hand and Lloyd Olson.
