Eagle Committee Votes For Two ‘Date Nights’ Each Week Facilities of the Eagle Club should continue to be available to soldiers of all United Nations Forces, a committee of American, Canadian and Polish non coms has recommended. Approval of the international policy of the club was decided by a representative group, invited to sit in as a committee in accordance with the club’s system of avoiding a fixed committee and going to men who happen to be in the building for their ideas regarding how the club should be operated. Those who participated in the session were: Sgt. R. P. Flynn, USAAF, Sgt. H. B. Goldberg, RCAF, Lac A. Kantor, PAF, Set. H. S. Stine, USA, Sgt. P. B. Smut, USAAF, Sgt. C. A. Roesch, USAAF, Sgt. P. G. McDuffiee, RAF and Set. S. Adsman, USA. The committee also urged more news papers from different cities, hoped a pool table could be made available soon and complimented the club management on the food served. They approved the creation of Wednesday and Friday ‘ date nights ”, and said they hoped cable trans mission of flowers and candy could be made available to Americans still serving in the Canadian and other Allied forces.
