Corporal Edward Hurd, a veteran of three years of war with the American and British forces in France, died in Indianapolis last Thursday of pneumonia. He was thrice wounded, gassed and shellshocked. He will be rememberedby many here last summer as one of the speakers at the Chantauqua.
