1 ■■ ■ * ■OBITUARY.Peter Lawson.Peter I^awson. for fifty-one year* aresident of Moline, died at his home. 12nl Sixth avenue, at 9 Friday morning:, after a three weeks' illness developing during the last few days to kidney trouble.Mr Lawson was horn in Sweden Nov. 13. 1SS25 He came to Moline in 1852 In May of 1857 he was united In marriage to Miss Kesia Larsoniand of this union seven children were born, nix of whom survive Hanning L, Faldan. Edward T. Esther, Mrs C. V Johnson all of Moline, and Mrs. J A. Miller of Chicago.Mr Lawson was employed from thetime he came here until 1895 as an engineer, working at the plants of the old paper mill, Williams, White Co’s, and the Moline Pump Co#s He Joinned the Swedish Lutheran church when he first came to Moline and had eer since been a member At thetime of death he was probably the oldest in point of membership in the congregation.It was his expressed wish that no flow’ers be sent for the funeral, whichwas held from the home Sunday afternoon at 2 30, with interment atRiverside.
