Marsh (vice-chairman), V. fed,ill, J.P., H.Sinuott.E.Hlride, 0. Pendoet, it. F. Nurse, Tlio.% Hignell, J. L,Champion, j. Ctriffiths, L, Naisb, tieo. Parker, andJus. Joyner. Tho vice-eha nun referred to the continued iiluess of Captain Bollield, and read a letter Ifrom him explaining the cause of his absence. It was unanimously resolved that the clerk convey to Capt, E. Held the board's sympatiiy with him iu his illness,and its hope that he would shortly be enabled to re*sumc his place at the board. The usual reports were received and read, and accounts presented forexamination, which, on tho recommendation of the Finance Committee, were ordered to be paid. Complaint having been made bv the Warmley lluralDistrict Council with reference to the erection of un-feDced poles upon the highway near Wm. Haski new’ buildings, at U armiey, the clerk was, on tho motiou of Mr. Nurse, instructed to give Mrs. Haskinsnotice to ence the same forthwith, or otherwise they must be altogethe removed. On the motion of Mr.Pencil k ho was also instructed to require the trees upon Mrs. Millard’s property, overhanging and in iur-ing the highway at Overuhill, Mangotsfield, to bo•opcvly out back, softs to prevent tbelnjury referredto.
