For nearly a year Prof. Ingraham, as Misted by the other te tchers, has been accumulating a fund for the purpose of buying a piano for the school. The subject of what make to get wag thor oughly studied and a decision rendered in favor of the Knahe. A. L. Bancroft A Co.. general agents for the Pacific Coast, were corresponded with through their local agent. Mr. T. M. MoEutee. T hey offered to put any grade the aohool might want into the building at factory prices. Style MI” was ordered and arrived on the last steamer in perfect tnne aud condition. The catalogue price of the instrument was fUSSO. It has been paid for within $150. This sum the school propose* to liquidate by a grand picnic at the end of the spring term.
