Taylor died on Thursday from injuries sustained when his truck crashed on F.M. 60. - Tribune photo by Sam PreussFATALITYFROM PAGE ONEfence on the north-side bar ditch.The accident was discovered shortly thereafter by a passerby who called 911, said investigating DPS Trooper Gary Franzetti said.DPS Troopers, Burleson County sheriff s deputies and a Burleson County EMS crew were dispatched to the scene and arrived at about 7:18 p.m., Franzetti said.Both were treated at the scene, and the Star Flight helicopter was dispatched immediately after EMS crews discovered the severity of Taylor's injuries.Taylor was treated at the scene and enroute to Breckenridge for head injuries, Franzetti said.The lifeflight helicopter arrived at about 8:15 a.m and arrived at Breckenridge Hospital at 8:45 a.m., but Taylor died moments later, Franzetti said.The fatal accident was the first of the year in BurlesonCounty. The county averages about six fatalities annually, and many of those occur on the narrow, two-lane F.M. 60.
