A SOMERVILLE MAN, Joshua A. Taylor, died on Thursday morning when he lost control of his 1990 Ford pickup and crashed on F.M. 60. Taylor was Star Flighted to Austin s Breckenridge Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. - Tribune photo by Sam PreussSomerville man dies from injuries in truck rollover on narrow F.M. 60A 20-year-old Somerville man died on Thursday morning from injuries sustained when he lost control of his pickup on F.M. 60, 2.6 miles west of Lyons, rolled it several times and was thrown from the vehicle.Alaric Taylor of Route 1, Box 906, was pronounced dead by Dr. Craig Meek at 8:59 a.m. at Breckenridge Hospital in Austin after beinglifeflighted from the scene moments earlier by a Star Flight crew from Austin.His brother, Jeremy Paul Taylor, 18, of the same address, was a passenger in the truck and suffered cuts and abrasions. He was treated at the scene and releasedThe accident occurred at about 7 a.m. when Taylor, traveling east in his 1990 Ford pickup on F.M. 60, became distracted, drove to the right side of the roadway onto the grass and overcorrected to the left, according to a Department of Public Safety report.The truck went back onto the roadway, overturned numerous times, and Joshua Taylor was ejected into a nearby bar ditch, the report said.
