Smith, 79, who died at 8:20 p.m. Friday at the! home of her daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Virginia) Partain, 2603 Lynn.wBurial for Mrs. Smith will be* ;n Portales Cemetery. Mrs. Smith’s body will be in state through this afternoon at |Nalley-Pickle »ral Home.Mrs Smith came to BigSpring from Fresno, Calif., in February of this year to reside with her daughter. jMrs. Smith was born Dec. 26. 1892, in Streeter, 111. She had been a resident of Fresno since 1954 where she was a member of the Baptist Church.Aug. 25, 1907. Mrs. Smith married Alex B. Smith atWheeler, Tex. Mr. Smith diedMarch 27, 1952.Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Partain, Big Spring; three sons, Oscar Smith. William Smith, both of Portales, N.M. and Owen Smith, Fresno, Calif.; one brother, J. L. Powers, Victorville, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Alvia Anderson, Fresno, Calif.; nine grand children; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great reat-grandchildren.
