Due to the splendid co-operation and vigilance of the residents of this municipality and the unceasing efforts of our Pest Control Officer, Melvin Prosser, the M.D. of Wainwright con tinues to remain free of Norway Rats. The 1968 year end reprtshes that for the fourth consecutive year there were no known infestations remaining in our area at the year end. This does not mean however that we can re lax our program of prevention and eradication, as each year new infesta tions occur as rate move in from ad jacent areas. The Wainwright Agricultural Service Board would like to take this oppor tunity to thank the residents of the Municipality for their co-operation in making this program so effective, and solicit their continued support to in sure that the MLD of Wainwright will remain free of this destructive pest.
