Frank Farley assaulted Harry Sweet this afternoon in front of the Peoples National bank, knocking him down and beating him, before by standers pulled him off. In the me lee a quart bottle of whiskey was broken. It is said Farley attacked Sweet because he asserted Sweet owed him $7.50. They were gone before the police arrived, but it is said affidavits would be filed.
