March 11.—The oldest human being; In Georgia of whose age there is authentic record lives In Mitchell county, near Pelham. Ho is John Brimberry ,a negro. Rrimberry is 121 years of age. having been born in North Carolina on the 2.1 of January. 17S8.The fact of Briraberry's remarkable ago appears to he well authenticated. Harmon Sapp, one of the best known and most highly thought-of citizens of Mitchell county, has had transmitted to him the record of the Sapp family, to whom Brimberry belonged in the latter part of the eighteenth and through lt;more man natr ».r the nino teenth centuries, giving the date of his birth as above. The claim that the old negro is really in bis one hundred and twenty-second year is upheld in the most positive manner by the Sapp famih. who say there is no chance for error.
