oe Acquitted, ex-Senator Gear was acquitted last Friday of the charge of soliciting a bribe, for which he was indicted by the grand jury of Franklin county. Mr.Gear expressed himself as not sur prised at the verdict and said that it could have been nothing else with jus tice. We live below some newspaper extracts bearing upon the trial an i its conclusion. Columbus Dispatch: The argument of ex-Congressman D. D.
