Steamship Andalusia Burnt at Sea. ]THE l’LKSEK, XtffcilKEEB, PILOT AN I) iuuli PASSENGERS MISSING.HALAXCK OF TUE CREW AND I*^S.EN-GERS SAVED.By the arrival yesterday of the steamer ban iSnlvudor. Capt. Nickerson,from New York, we received intelligence of the burning of a steamship off Gape H-itt*ras, which proved to be the steumer Andalusia, which sailed from New York on Saturday last for Charleston. Capt. Nickerson's report is as follows:“March 3d, 9:15 p.m., saw a peculiar light on our starboard bow, apparently a vessel on fire. At 12 midnight came up with her; shortened sail and stopped the engine. She appeared to be a propeller of some twelve hundred tons; round stern ; overreaching stern, and but one boiler; mainmast and smokestack gone; foremast and pilot house standing, both of which soon after disappeared. She must have been on fire sometime, as all the afterpart of her was burned out. Saw another steamship lying by her, supposed to be the Havana; spoke her, and asked if-they had rescued any one; answered that they had picked up a boat with no one in her. Soon after saw another boat; run alongside, found her to be painted black outside and light inside, but con* taining no one, and having little or no water in her. The wind was light, from westward, with a smooth sea.“The two boats being directly to windward of the burning ship, and right side up, think they had been fallen in with and the inmates taken out by some ship near by at the breaking out of the fire, which i think picked up the whole ship’s company and proceeded on her course; cruised about the wreck until 2 a.m.; saw nothing more adrift and no signs of life; the Havana still laying by her, proceeded on our voyage.”From the telegraphic dispatch, which we publish elsewhere, we learn that the najpe of the burnt steamer was the Anda-stsfj that Edward North, purser, ^amea McMullen, engineer, Jacob Lock* man, pilot, with four of the crew and fourixicionffhrc urn mucinrr Tho
