Members of the Blossburg Volun teer Fire Department Auxiliary would like to extend an invitation to the public, to attend a free candy making demonstration to be given by Mrs. Shirley Heatley of Morris. The demonstration will be held at the Blossburg Library on Monday, March 16 at 7:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Please, come and bring a friend. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Pawlak have returned to their home following sev eral weeks vacation in Florida. The regular monthly meeting of the Christian Mothers’ Guild of St. Mary’s Church was held on Tuesday, March 3, at 7:30 p.m. in the church hall. The President, Leona Mesuch, conducted the business meeting. Delicious refreshments were served following the meeting. __ The members of the First Commu nion Class of the Tri-Parishes re ceived the Sacrament of Reconcilia tion for the first time on Sunday, March 1. Following the service, re freshments were served in the church hall to the children, their par ents, and their teachers, Fr. Walt, Sr. Jane and Sr. Maria.
