(Continued from page 1) Mr. Cawley stated that in the past year approximately one mile of access rocked access road and 4 miles of rocked perimeter road on east side of lake had been completed. Also that 3 miles of sewer pipe had been laid, along with constructing 4 lift stations, 80 manholes, and completion of a 6-acre lagoon. The lagoon and Sewer lines make Lake Thunderhead one of the few lakes in the State with controll ed water pollution. A %-mile 6-inch water line has been laid from Unionville to the lake and on to the mun erpal airport, along with a 100,000 gallon high level stor age tank. Construction completed by Mr. Harald Cawley during the winter months includes a 400 ft. rocked seawall with 20 slip docks for the marina, another unloading ramp was constrict ed to make possible the handling of 4 boats at one time, and other incidentals completed were picnic tables, picnic fire places, toilet facilities, etc. An important step in ready ing the homesite lots for sale was completing water, sewer and roads to the area. The Jake Board also pur chased several pieces of new machinery ,including a buil dozer, back hoe, tractor and brush hop. These will be used to further deplete the cost of future development of lots, roads, camp sites, etc, and to tidy up the area in general. In planning for the future, the Lake Board made a revised budget for priority projects in 1970, as follows 1, Homesite Surveying and Developing ----- ee £ 43, 000.00 2. These tree will be used for Take planting the palerie areas, and replacement of trees which were removed for con struction purposes There will be other conservation practices carried out this summer.
