Miriam E. GlassServices SundayMiriam E. Glass, widow of Andrew' T. Glass, 705 8th ave., Marion. passed away at 2 a. m. Thursday. March 5. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry (Eva) Hardens on Indian Hill Road, S. E., Cedar Rapids.She was born September 10, 1S70 at West Union, the daughter of John and Eunice Baldwin Balch. She was married to Mr. Glass on Oct. 1. 1890 at Cherokee. and they farmed between, Pvaivieburg and Monticello for CO I years, Mr. Glass passed away at Cedar Rapids on March 17, 1952 and Mrs. Glass has made her home at Marion since that time. ;Surviving in addition to Mrs. Hargens are three other daughters: Mrs. Clarence (Gertrude) Knapp. Central City: Mrs. Fredi Jessie) Bohlken, Marion, and | Mrs. Harley (Esther) Avis, Cog-! sron: three sons: Ernest Glass,Delhi, Howard Glass, Marion, and Ralph Glass. Alburnett; 22 grandchildren, 3ft great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildrenMemorial services were: conducted at the Murdoch chapQl;' Marion, at 2 p. m. Sundav. March S. by the Rev. Bernard G.- Olson, pastor of the Kenwood Methodist church. Interment was in Cedar Memorial Park cemetery. Bearers were the following grandsons: Thomas and Neil Glass. Robert Avis, Richard Hargens. Terry Knapp and Gary Brislawn.
