ABERDEEN, (£)—Competition in the third annual North Caro lina girls basketball tournament continues here tonight with three games scheduled. The second night's play in the week-long tournament will pit Bethel against Washington, Rockwell against Biscoe and Reeds against Jasper. Opening round action last night saw Katie Mae Oldham score 53 points to lead Gold ston to a 75-74 win over Coop ers. Selma defeated Calypso, 57-54, and Aberdeen downed Manteo, 53-47, to complete the night's program. Lincolnton’s girls will defend their state title in tomorrow night's competition.
