B. .McCormick, members of the Montana Stute Railway commission. ur-rived in Lewlstown Tuesday morning to attend hearings at Arrow Creek and Hoosac. A. W. Winter, stenographer, accompanied them, and Assistant Genera! Superintendent K. H. Barrett and Division Freight and Passenger Agent P. H. Scanlau were here In behalf of the Milwaukee railroad. These hearings were In an-hwer to a petition from Arrow Creek citizen* for a Milwaukee agent, and irom Hoosac for a station and a keeper. The party, which also included Superintendent Whiting, attended a brief hearing at Arrow Creek dur-iug the morning at which all statements bearing on the subject were presented, but on account of n counter-petition from Hoosac the hearing there was canceled.Decision In the Arrow Creek matter will probably be rendered in a lew weeks.B. H. Barrett left last evening for Butte.
