Ocilla, Ga., March 7.—Saturday at midnight burglars entered the office of the Ocilla Southern Railroad at this place and attempted to open the office safe, but only cut the | hinges and broke the hand bolts and left it. The attempted job was bunglesome. They afterwards went to the yards of the road and under- s took to run one of its locomotives, \ but only took it on the outskirts of the town and because the steam was lacking they abandoned the job and £ left the engine standing on the main s line where it was found the next r. morning with the tool chest opened * and its lock broken.
