At Applecreek within the last few weeks quite a number of persons have been attacked by a skin disease which was diagnosed as chickenpox. All re covered nicely. Some days since Jesse Franks, seed 66, was taken down with what was pronounced chickenpox. Mr. Franks got wet and it developed a very severe attack of the disease. Mr. Franks broke out so badly that Dr. Winkler, the attending physician, fear ing that his diagnosis was not right, sent word to the state board of health asking that an inspector come to Ap plecreek and make an examination. An officer was sent hint heen *bAe we Uroan, could not get any further than Mr. Vernon. It is thought the in spector will get to the village on Sun day. Mr. Franks, who is reported as getting along nicely has been quaran tined.—Wooster Republican. An inspector from the Board of Health officer visited Applecreek Sun day and pronounced the case a genuine case of smallpox and ordered a quaran tine. Two cases are reported in this family, and many have been exposed to the disease.—Dalton Gazette.
