A Fine Brood Mare Killed,On Thursday night Mr. Fid. Gallery drove down to town and niter attending to his business started home, but after getting some distance out on the Versailles pike remembered he had forgotten something, turned around and drove nt'pidly hack, having a tine brood mare attached to his vehicle. Coming down the Arsenal Hill he met Mr. Olympus Crutcher, who was on hie way home, in his buggy, and in the darkness the horses attached to the respective vehicles collided. The shaft of young Crutcher’s buggy struck Mr, Gallery's in are in the breast and penetrated theileeh over a foot in depth, and such an outpouring of the animal's blood resulted that she died even before she could be disingaged from the ve* hide.
