Fntnl Accident.—On the 3rd lust., Mr Edward Hoffman, of Delaware township.was almost Instantly killed by being struck on the head by the limb of a tree which he was engaged in felling. It was a repetition of the old occnrrence-lbe foiling tree struck another, near by, which had the effect of breaking off*and springing through the air the limb which did the fatal work. The deceased was In Lis 3Tlh year, and leaves a wife and four children. Ho went out lu Co_ Q/T 14.5th P. V,, (Capt, Wood’s Co.) and served nobly through the war. It is sad to think that, after escaping so many missiles of mnro fearful force, he must fall now In this inglorious manner.
