Gov Powell Sckk.—The new Evansville and Green River packet Gov. Powell, on her first trip op Green River met with a serious accident, re*suiting in her sinking, although not entirely to the bottom. Last Thursday she took a sheer and struck a rock at Boat Island, in Barren River, three and a half miles below Bowling Green, which knocked three holes in her hull, and she at once commenced sinking.
