FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR HARRY RAMSEYHarry Edwin Ramsey, 84, of Arlington, died Monday, February 28, 1977, at the Grandview Nursing Home, Oelwein, Iowa.Ramsey, a retired Milwaukee Railroad employee, was born July 31, 1892, at Herndon, Iowa. He was graduated from the Oxford Junction High School. For a time, he was station manager at Arlington and then moved to Marion, Iowa, where he was a dispatcher for the railroad.He was confirmed April 16, 1911, in the Lutheran church andvwas a lifelong faithful member.On June 17, 1923, he was married to the former Louisa Wilken of Arlington.Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 2, 1977, at 1:30 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, Arlington, with the Brant-Kerns Funeral Home, Oelwein, in charge. Burial was at the Strawberry Point Cemetery.He is preceded in death by his wife. A brother, Clyde Ramsey, Arlington, nephews and nieces survive.
