Model isMrs. Robert C. Fivian, selected as one of the best of 50 models at the show. She represented Arlington ghts Chapter of Infant Welfare.Robert C. Fivian, 1410 N. Salem, Arlington Heights, was selected by the judges as one of the best of the 50 models taking part in the fashion show.Sponsored by the Women’s Auxiliary of the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago, judges were fashion editors of Chicago newspapers.Mrs. Fivian, representing the Arlington Heights Center, modeled a Valentino gown with a price tag of $500. Her floor-length gown was of red and green silk plaid, jumper style with blouse in a matching smaller plaid.For the show an adult model and a child model represent each Center, andMrs. Fivian’s 5-year-old daughter Karen was also on the runway at the Conrad Hilton Hotel. Karen wore a white tennis dress with big red ribbons in her hair.OTHER AREA Infant Welfare members modeling in the show were Mrs. James Gallagher and Amy Cameron, representing the Mount Prospect Center;Mrs. Charles Stanford and Todd Payes, Palatine Center. Mrs. J. William Cameron of the Mount Prospect Center was the walking rose who accompanied thetiniest tots on the runway.Mrs. Richard C. Berkshire, MounttheMrspect, was one of the committee members.The models, all amateurs, were professionally fitted by I. Magnin, and robert marc did their make-up.
