Bookont'sBites ConductediiFuneral riles for Mrs. Gazzle Irene Bookout, 78, wife of William Bookout, were held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Beth*; lehem Baptlts church, interment following in the church cemetery.!■The rites were conducted by »ev, T. W' Fogleman, assisted by Rev. W. G. Co»,4. and *he body lay in state for half hour prior to the funeral services.Mrs, Bookout, native of Cleve-land county, had lived at 504 W, Mountain street for the past five years. She succumbed on Tuesday morning «t 2:30, following a year's fllnass. She was a daughter of the lata Nancy and Ira Beam.Surviving, In addition to her husband, are two sons, Buford Bookout and George Bookoutboth of Fairfax, Va„ two broth -1 era, William Beam and Monroe Beano, both at Grover, and three. sisters, Miss Ellen Beam, of Kings Mountain, Mrs. Florence Johnson of BatHn, and Mrs. Blanche Herndon, of Rehobeth, Va.
