FUNERALTHIS MORNING FOR MOTHER OF MRS. H. PHILLIPSMrs. Amelia Emily McHugh, 83, of Redwood, mother of Mrs. Herbert L. Phillips of South Hammond, died at about 9 Monday evening at the home of another daughter, Mrs. Clarence Casselman of the Clayton-Alexandria Bay road. She was the widow of Alexander J. McHugh, who died at his home In Redwood last M^rch 22. He was retired from the New York Central railroad. Mrs. McHugh had been ill for only a short time, and infirmities of old age were the cause of her death.Mrs. McHugh was bom April 2, 1854 at Redwood, a daughter of Stephen and Esther Pheneuf Seneeal. On March 27, 1883, she was married to Mr. McHugh, at Redwood.Mrs. McHugh was a member of St. Francis Xavier church in Redwood, and was also active in its Altar andiRosary societies.Besides Mrs. Phillips, she leaves ( four daughters, one step-daughter, two sons, a si?ter and two brothers. Also 37 grand children and threegreat-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held from the home in Redwood this morning at 9, and a half hour later from St. , Francis Xavier church with Rev. W.J. Charbonneau, her pastor, officiating. Burial will be made in Redwood cemetery.
