J. J. Rourke to Transfer Laun dry There. —A real estate transfer of consider able interest is the contemplated purchase of the City hotel on Middle street by John J. Rourke, the well known proprietor of the Royal laun dry. In an interview with the writer this morning, Mr Rourke said that the papers are all made out but that they have not as yet been signed. He has an application before the city govern ment for permission to install boiler in the building and if this is granted, the papers will be immediately signed and workmen will start in on the building The upper story will be remodeled into a flat that will be occupied by Mr. Rourke and his family. In the downstairs apartments considerable change will be made. The partitions will be torn down and the interior changed into one large room and this will be the laundry department Mr Rourkes increase in business makes it necessary for him to seek a new location.
