An Enjoyable Evening.Last Friday evening Miss Minnie Beeker entertained a number of her friends at the pleasant home of her parents, J. P. Beeker and wife of Elkhart township, in honor of Miss Nelia Kammerer of Deland, Illinois, who is visiting at the home of Augustus I Poppy and wife. Music and games i were indulged • in and an excellent repast was furnished the guests. Those present were Misses Osa Hathaway, Louisa and Clara Butz of York township; Bertha Parks and Lena Preston of Brimfield; Thy Lybarge r of Kendallville; Elmer Becker, Charles and Walter Ridenbaugh, Frank Boyd of Elkhart township; Charles Gretzinger and Rollin Black of York township; S. B. Russel of Goshen; Nim Norris of Kirn* mell, and E. H. Jordan of Maryland. All reported a very enjoyable time.
