The (-olden* Cominf.Mr. J. E. Franklin, the advance agent of the Golden troupe, was in town Monday, making arrangements for his company to play here Friday and Saturday nights of this week. The plays for the two nights will he “Fate” and the “French Spy,” in which latter play Bella Golden has won a national reputation. Since playing inA mericus last fall the Goldens have been playing in Florida, being in Jsck-ontiilc thite times. In Key West, they played fifteen nighta, turning away people over half the time. Their band is greatly improved. which is saying a good deal. Friday and Saturday the band will serenade the town, doing some line military movements as they march, under the direction ol the drum major, who will be with them this time. We believe A mericus will extend a hearty welcome to the troupe.
