SLEEPING SICKNESSCLAIMS JOHN WYNNEJohn L. Wynne, aged 32 years and a former Colfax resident, died last Thursday of sleeping sickness at the home of his brother, Carl E. Wynne, in Tckoa. He had been sick for four weeks, having been taken sick at Pullman, where he and his wife were em-ployed in one of the fraternity houses 1 at the State College.The body was brought to Colfax and the funeral was held Saturday at i 11:30, from the Congregational church,' the Rev. F. O. Wyatt officiating.Surviving are his wife, formerly Miss Gladys May Davis; a five years: old daughter, Sarah Dorene; his | mother, Mrs. Mary E. Wynne of Garfield; four sisters, Mrs. Paul Kilde j and Cecil Wynne, Tckoa; Mrs.; Thomas Laws, Emida, Idaho; Mrs. Nels Rowland, Monse, Wash., and three brothers, Carl E., Tckoa; James, Garfield, and Thomas, Wenatchee.Mr. Wynne was born at Palouse and lived in Whitman county all his life. —Colfax Gazette.
