Activities will begin Friday eve ning, March 10th, the engineering students in the university will hold their first annual pow wow as a starter for their thirteenth annual Mecca celebration which is to be held from March 14th to March 18th. Featuring tomor row night's celebration will be 2 big bon fire, smokes and “hot dogs,” mixed with a few peppy “speeches from some of the Old Grads, who are returning for the Mecca celebration. Among those who will be present are Martin J. Flentie, 1920, a former cheer jeader for the university, County Engineer Albert F. Fisher, 1911, and Raymond Justen, 1920.
