DuVoyle-Coburn Co. Notes.I suppose The Reporter is now settled in its new home. Now we can watch our” little paper grow.Stockport, la., surprised us to such an extend that we are going back lor a return date.Our next engagement was West, I*oint, la., which is not much of a week day town, but is a dandy Sunday night stand.Coburn dug out a town of Hlakcshurg next, and has already booked the town for a return within two weeks, so folks, if you have the show, don’t be afraid to book this one. A rep. company can double their business by the end of the engagement.Next came a mining camp, Bidwoll. The young managers (Tom and Ralph Newell) are hustlers and have proved it by subscribing for The Reporter. The show cleaned up, as it was right after pay day. We will soon be back there too. Many shows are closing; whether it is bad business or what, we cannot say, but this show has been out for thirty-six weeks and hasn't missed a Balary dfty yet. Some record, eh?Next came Bloomfield for Mr. Wishard, This should be spelled B-l-o-o-ni-“e-r’ etc. It is impossible to drag the natives in, but not because it wasn't billed properly, ^ as “Bud” had it looking like a circus. This town needs a theatre doctor in the shape of Howard Newell. We certainly played to the poorest business during the season. Oh ! You two revival meetings! with prospects of another, and Lent thrown in besides.We are now in Pulaski. The seat sale is nearly gone already. No--we have no intentions of closing for some time to come. From here we go to Mystic to open the new Strand Theatre. This is in Appanoose county, ehAl ?I see A! Gorrell is going to open at the Waterloo Theatre. Go to it Ah frank, Leggy and Rollie are still for you.
