The Persons united in the bonds of matri mony were James A. Sewell of Bran ton, and Miss Jessie Young of Branton. The ceremony was performed by Rev J. O. Ridd, after which the merry company took their departure to the city where their many friends were awaiting them. A very pretty welding took place at Brandon Hills parsonage on Tues day, Feb. 28th. The contracting par ties were Mr. R .D. Leeson of Beres ford, and Miss Donalina McKenzie of the same place. The ceremony was performed by Rev. J. W. Ridd. Mr. John McKenzie, brother of the bride, assisted the groom, and Miss Minnie Leeson sister of the groom, assisted the bride.
