RIVER FOREST.A calamity which is most sincerely regretted by every resident of River Forest occurred last Thursday week when our well known and prominent citizen Mr. Solomon Thatcher Jr. was suddenly, while sitting in a dentist’s office in the city, stricken with total paralysis of the left side. Mr. Thather who is 62 years old had gone to the dentist’s to have some work done. He was sitting on a chair when ho suddenly felt the shock. He attempted to rise and his limbs refused to do their office. He was on order of Dr. Danforth immediately conveyed to his home here where he has since lain in a precarious condition, with but little evidence of recovery. The entire village feels the deepest sympathy and solicitude for Mr. Thatcher and his estimable family It la earnestly hoped that the stroke may quickly pass away. Mr. Thatcher has been conscious of his misfortune since it happened and bears it as only a brave man can bear it.
