* ---------—--------C------- ’--- *--Barnes Institute and Cricket Club.—The annual general xueeting of this club was held on Monday, the president Mr. J. M. Thofne in the chair. The committee, in submitting their i financial report, said they had much pleasure in announcing that at the end ef the season they had a balance of £5 18a. 7d.Great improvements having been carried out on the cricket grounds during the winter months at the sole expense of the club, they were kept at the end of the year in debt to about £4 10s.
