COMMITTED. On Saturday Morning laft: Franc’sDunmore, who had lived near i 2 Months as a Porter with Mr. Brady, a Grocer, in Newgate-Street, was taken into Cuftody for dr.frading his Mfter. Mr. Brady’s Shopman had often milled Halfpence out of the Till, and lufpeed the Porter muft take them ; whereupon Mrlt; Brady rook five Shillings worth of Halfpence laft Friday to Mr. Read’s, a Scale-maker at AJderfgate, and had a fmali private Mark put upon each, and gave them to h s Man to throw into the Till among the ether Halfpence, and then ordeicd all the Servants* to go to ted, except the Porter, who was ordered to fit up for him. The next Morning the Halfpence were told, when theie were only 5 s. 4 d. of the marked ones'ieft ; whereupon a Conftabie was lent for, andlop4«2CPcIiing him 5 s. woith of Halfpence, tied up in a Paper, were found in his Side-pucke^*, and 2 s. 6 d. were found loofe in another of hss Pockets, among w7hich laft Parcel were 20 d. of the marked Halfpence ; whereupon he was carried before Alder-mim Cokayne at the Manfton-Houfe, who committed
