MRS. PETER NELSON.Independence, la.. March S .Special: Mr.-. Peter Nelson. aged about♦9 years, died at the home of herdaughter. Mrs. H. J. Iiarsko, Thursday morning about 9 o'clock. She had been ill most of the winter and had been making her home with the daughter.4 Mi. N* : v.«- a t.ativ** ofDenmark, coming to America about forty-five years ago. For many yearsshe made her home in the Danishsettlement, about six miles southeast of this city. She was married shortly alter her arrival from her native country to Peter Nelson, who with five children survives. She and her husband moved to this city aboutfifteen years ago and since made this their home. The surviving children are: Mrs John Nelson. CTooks-ton. Minn ; John W. Nelson. Win-throp; Charles Nelson, Mrs. II. J. Parske and Mrs. H. II. Hansen, of Independence. There are also a number of grandchildren surviving. One son. Henry, died during the World war and was buried at sea, and another son died iti infancy.Funeral services will h* Id Sun day afternoon at 3 o’clock from the faniih home. Kev. A. Hanson, pastor of the Danish Baptist church at Pine Creek, will conduct the services. Burial will be made in the cemetery adjoining the church.
