CUTTING SCRAPE AT ICE FACTORY THISThis morning shortly before 10 . o'clock an unfortunate cutting affair took place at the Lakeland Ice Co.. when Mr. Lynn, who represents the Fruit Growers’ Express; and 0. Com* bee. an employe of the Ice Company.| became engaged in a difficulty. and in flu melee Combee was cut In the small of tho back by Lynn. The lat . rr was arrested hut released on a $50 bond.It appears that the foreman of the ice company was called away for the . morning and he left the men, who were Icing cars, under fhe direction of Mr. Lynn. The latter, it is said, had an argument with Combee as to the manner in which he was doing his work, and later told Combee he would have to fire him If he failed to carry out his instructions, which he did It is said that later Combee told Lynn he was going to whip him for firing him. and the altercation followed. Combee was given surgical attention by Dr. Sullivan and taken to his home on Patterson street, where he is doing as well as could be | expected, however, it is not expected that his wounds will prove serious, (hut it will tnko time to determine this.
