f J --------- ^Those Three . families ofUnion Refugees from Arkansas, are in the Court House in this city—objects of pity and fit subjects for the charity and human* ity of our peoplo. No one should visit them cut of idle curiosity. They are starved, sick and dying. But our humane peo pie should at once see that they are cleaned of their filth, and made comfortable. They are plain, honest, and reasonably intelligent people—robbed of all they had in the world. Their immediate wants : re changes of clothing, sheets, pillow cases.and clean bedding, and things to make them decent. Will not our people respond to this call upon them, and see that these sufferers are provided for in some systematic andthorough manner?— Since the above was in type, the Supervisors have taken them in hand and removed them to the County House, where they will be well provided tor.
