James Fagan, arrested some time since for t ie murder of Carle, in the town of Pleasant Frairie, and committed on his confession. of guilt, has subsequently made another confession, entirely contradicting the first- Ho now declares himself innocent, except as an accessory after the Jfact, implicating Quads also as an accessory, and making Shine the principal. He has been undergoing an examination for the past three or four days in tins village. The examination has not yet been concluded. We suppose the result willbe the commitment of Shine and Quads to await, with Fagan, their trial for murder at the apprlt;jachmg term of our Court.[Southport Telegraph.
