Linda R. Yamnitz and Wil liam Jack Ryan, both of Jack sonville, were united in mar riage by Rev. Ken Venvertloh on Dec. 26, 2003, in the Church of Our Saviour Chapel. The bride is the daughter of Franklin C. Rehfeld of Brent wood, Mo., and the late Mary Montgomery Rehfeld. The groom is the son of Ruby Gor don Ryan of Springfield and the late Joseph Stewart Ryan. Their attendants were E. Nicole Ryan of Naples, Fra., daughter of the groom, and Daniel Yamnitz of Godfrey and Benjamin Yamnitz of Evansville, Ind., sons of the bride. A dinner reception was held following the ceremony at the Jacksonville Country Club. The bride is a former assis tant professor of French at MacMurray College; she is cur rently completing a doctoral degree at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. The groom is a retired district commander with the Illinois State Police. The couple reside in Jacksonville.
