the Lafayette Division of- Wabash Engineers, lie died in 1885. At that time the family resided on North Eighteenth street. Mrs. McGuire left this city in 1892 to make her home with her sons in Chicago. She was born in Ireland August 15, 1847; and came to Lafayette when a young girl, where she was married to Mr. McGuire. Mrs. McGuire was a member of the Catholic church. She is survived by the following sons: Michael J.f John M.,James L. and Edward M. McGuire, ! al of Chicago. The remains arrived Thursday over the Monon railroad and were taken to the home of John McGuire, 704 North Fifth street.
