A. O. Turnbull Dead ■Adam Oliver Turnbull was born in Stark county. 111, January 1847. He was the sixth of a family of seven children, two sisters and five brothers, only one of whom, Robert A. Turnbull of Coin survives him. On Oct. 12. 1869 he was married to Martha Mc-Caughn of Kcwanee, 111., and to this union eight children were born, three of whom died in infancy. In 1882 he came to Farragut ami purchased a fine tract of land one mile south of town which has been his. home ever since. Me was not only a member of the Congregational church but he had beenone of its trustees for the past sixteen ■years. On Feb. 26 he suffered a stroke of appoplexy and lingered until Feb 17 when death claimed him.
