Death or Hra. James Voria.a lt;j Mrs. Yurie, wife of James Yoris,I died at ber home four milea north of 1 Hagerstown. Sunday, February 25, after an illness of a week. Funeral services were beld Tuesday at W«t-t River Friends church. The bearers w^re Mrs. J. Voris, Mis. Dan Waltz, Mrs. Zora Matcbet, Mrs. Carl Cbees-mun and Mrs. Minnie Niccum. The fol lowing was read as a part of tbe funeral services:Obituary.Nora May Yores, wife of James Vores, and daughter of Thomas and Naomi Goble, was born in Blackford County. Ind., August 26, 1881, and departed this life February 25. 1912. age 30 years, five months, and one day. When she wan two years of age her parents moved to Gaston, Delaware County, residing there about six years they moved to Mnncie, Ind., where she received her education iu tbe pub lie schools of that place.Oq M reb 31, 1900, she was united in marriage to James Vores and hand in band they started on tbe journey of life together, at Mathews, Iud , never thinking that their time of companionship would so soon be ended. In 1908 they moved to Henry County aod a lit tie later to their present home.To this union were born four children, Orlif Paul, deceased at six months of age; Cecil Leland, Garnet Lucile, and Russel Thomas. In November 1911, during a series of meetings at this plaee, she accepted Christ as her Savior, and gave evidence and testimony of a consecrated life to his service. In January she and ber children were received into membership in the Friends Church. But now we believe she is enjoying the glories of tbe Church Tiiumphant.During her last sickness she said, “my stay od earth is short but the future is oh, so bright.” Husband has lost a faithful companion, children a loving mother, one who was ever ready and anxious to do all in her power for the happiness of her family. She was highly esteemed and loved by all her friends and neighbors. While she leaves husband, three children, mother, brother, two sisters and many relatives and friends to mourn their irreparable loss, but our ioss is her eternalg«;n.••Through ull pain at times she’d smile, A smile of heavenly birth,And when the angels called her home, She smiled farewell to earth.Heaven retaiueth now our treasure,E trtli the lonely casket keeps,And the sunbeams love to linger Where our sainted mother sleeps.”
