IMPROVEMENTS ATXEB^RPDINT/Mr. Boeckilng, the New Manager, Will Arrive In April.Gr. A. Boeckling, president luk] general manager of the Cedar Point Pleasure Resort company, will arrive m Sandusky about the first of April to take charge of the improvements which will begin at the resort this year. He will remain in the city permanently Umyngh-ont the season.Immediately after the arrival of Mr. Boedding civil engineers and workmen will begin the surveying of the land preparatory to laying out the summer resort property and park sun minding the same. It is not known at this time just how much of the proposed improvements at the Poiut will be undertaken this year. It has been decided, however, to lay out the cottage lots preparatory to a sale of the same, which will be held some time during the summer. Other improvement# will be made as rapidly a,s practicable.Landscape gardeners will also be placed at work early this season and by the time the resort opens it is expected that the grounds will be m far better shape than at any time in its history. Concerning the proposed hotel on the point nothing is definitely known. There has been afloat of late a rumor that certain parties were prepared to erect a hotel 011 the propony tins year, but it is believed by parties most interested in the resort, that this improvement will hardly be undertaken this season.
