The Mother of ir. fl. Swer- | iugen Called to Her Long ;Kest. iThurs f r»y evening at G o’clock,at the i home of Dr. H. V. Swerin-gen, of 197 West Wayne street, occurred the death of mother, Mrs, . Lucinda Sweringen. The deceased ; was in her 85th year, having: been• oborn in Virginia .in 1810, and her death was caused from oJd age. The deceased left a daughter and two sons, the doctor being the only one residing in this citv, and with whom she had made her home for the pastthirteen years. Mrs. Sweringen■ *was a good woman, and her death will he sincerely mourned by a large circle of friends and acquaintances. The remains were taken to Mas-silon, Ohio, for interment, leaving at7:45 Friday evening over the Pittsburg road.The funeral of the late GeorVe W.*Collar will be held to-morrow morning, at 9 o’clock, fioni the residence* 185 Monroe street, and one-half hour later at the Cathedral.
