Another Shooting Affair—A Womau Mortally Wounded.—Saturday night one man was murdered, an attempt made to murder another, and a woman shot, but not dangerously wounded. On Sunday night, about 12 o’clock, a woman named Alice McDonald originally from New Albany, only about 14 years old, living in a den on Marshall street, kept by a woman who calls herself Julia Dean, was shot by Frank Holmes. The ball entered her side, and her physician says she cannot recover, though she was still alive at noon to-day. Holmes was drunk, and he says the pistol went off accidentally. He was arrested Sunday night, and Ann Clarkston was arrested yesterday morning a9 an accessory to the act.—Lou. Journal.
